Piper's New Family

Everything is going great. Piper is just a perfect dog. We just got back from our second walk today (I have the day off) and she’s taking a nap. She has been very well behaved. I took her to my parent’s house on Saturday to meet their yorkie, Hannah, and they became quick friends. We also went to the pet beach on Honeymoon Island in Dunedin where Piper made some other friends and everyone was commenting on how beautiful and well behaved she is. When we got home she took a bath, against her liking, of course.
I just wanted to let you know that Piper went to the doctor's today and she is in perfect health. She is weighing in at just about 60 lbs. I've attached a picture of Piper and her new friend Baby, my parent's cat, eating together.

Pipers Birthday
As you can see she really loves cake. It looks like her eyes were going to pop out of her head.

I thought you might like to know that I have settled right in to my new home and was such a good boy, with no "accidents" that my mommy let me go to work today. So far I've inspected the offices, picked my bed and toys out, and discovered if I carry around a doggie tennis ball everyone, and I do mean everyone, in the office will throw it for me. I even took it on my walk this morning and conned the firemen at the station down the street to play for a while. I have included pictures of me before and after a long round of fetch!
Last night I had steak with my kibble and got to chew a big bone as we were celebrating my arrival. I was just a little bit naughty as I couldn't resist trying out the pool, and yes I am a very good swimmer. Mommy says I can swim when the pool is a bit warmer, but I did have fun drying myself on everyones pants while waiting for a towel to dry off on. I watched the news in bed with mommy and p retended to be asleep so that I could stay in the big bed, but she caught me peeking at her out of one eye! She decided since I am in an unfamiliar place I could stay, so I slept right up against her all night long.
Thanks for caring for me while I waited for my permanent home. I'm going to be just fine and will check in with you periodically to let you know how I'm doing.
Belle's New Family

Just wanted to let you know I arrived at my forever home safe and sound. I met my human brother, Brian and he seemed to love me a lot! I went up to his "pad" in cool Hyde Park and got a great view of the tropical plants and stuff from his second floor. I got confused though and thought this was where I was going to live. Boy was I wrong! Mom & dad packed me back into the car and off we went to a place called Valrico. Dang if I don't live on a golf course! I watch the people go by in these funny little cars (dad calls them carts) and there's always someone new to check out. I met my parakeet brother Dino. He's fascinating to me. I think I could stare at him for hours! Next, I met Uncle Bobby. He gave me a very cool chew toy. I love it. I also met my Auntie Pam. Now I don't mean to sound cocky, but I already know she really likes me. She picked me up, played with me and told me over and over how beautiful I am. I met Uncle Mark. He has a furry daughter named Emma and I'll ge t to see her soon. I haven't met the furry kid next door yet but mom says she'll introduce us later today. At the end of the day yesterday mom & dad took me out for a little romp (gotta watch those stitches!) in the big golf course back yard. Man, was that ever fun! I saw big dogs, medium dogs and ones that looked like me!
I'm being very good and even went potty this morning when dad took me out. He & mom nearly had a celebration just because I peed. What's up with that? I even got to have a cookie!

She is sleeping under my desk as we speak….I have a new attachment to my hip! LOL!!!

Lalu's New Family

Lalu is doing really well so far, she's as good as gold, and learning so much! At first she wasn't too great with the stairs, but now she is; and she knows our elevators, and the park.
It was so nice to meet you yesterday, you're doing such a wonderful thing with your shelter, and Lalu is obviously a beautiful and happy dog that you made possible! Thank you so much for everything.

Well we are finally letting you know how Apollo is doing aka struess is doing. He is a great addition to our new family and home. We just started training him to catch a frisbee and he seems to doing great at it. We thought frisbee because he seems to have a nack for jumping. He is up to weight and very healthy the vet says. Apollo sleeps in our bed every night and is a great snuggler.
Thanks for giving us a great dog,
Kyle and Kialha
